Emergency services were at the scene of a medical emergency at the Smithfield Luas stop earlier today.
Passengers were warned of delays on the Red Line this morning due to the incident.
A Luas spokesperson said on Twitter: “Delay to inbound services from Smithfield due to a Medical Emergency, EMS en route. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
There were still some slight delays to services in and out of the city after the emergency had been cleared.
The spokesperson added: “Medical Emergency has been cleared from Smithfield, Services in & out of the city are operating with slight delays, we thank you for your patience.”
