Motorists are facing delays on the M74 this morning.
A four-car crash which was reported on the northbound route at around 8.30am is having a knock on affect on the road network.
The incident happened at Junction 4, Maryville.
One witness tweeted Traffic Scotland stating that there was "a four car pile up on the M74 North just after J4."
Lane two has now reopened but traffic remains slow on approach as a result.
The condition of those involved is unknown at this time.
