Delays are being experienced in Basford after a set of level barriers were stuck down at a level crossing. The barriers at the David Lane, Vernon Road and Basford Road crossing were reported as stuck at around 2:30pm on Wednesday, May 24.
The barriers have since been raised but delays are still ongoing in the area. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix: "Queueing traffic due to earlier level crossing problem on B6004 David Lane in both directions between Evans Road and Waterford Street.
"The road was blocked until just prior to 14:55." Some public transport services have also been affected by the incident.
Nottingham City Transport tweeted: "There are delays on Yellow 70/71 due to the barriers remaining down at the David Lane/Vernon Road level crossings earlier.
