Delays expected in Dublin city centre as street closed due to incident

Delays are expected in Dublin city centre as Macken Street has been fully closed to traffic due to an incident.

As a result, traffic cannot travel along the street between Pearse Street and the South Quays.

Emergency services are currently on scene, Dublin Live reports.

An Garda Siochana said: "Diversions are in place due to an incident at Macken Street. Expect delays and use an alternative route if possible."

AA Roadwatch said: "Macken St is closed between Pearse St and the South Quays as emergency services deal with an incident, with diversions in place.
