The closure of a busy Nottingham road has been extended, resulting in continuing delays.
There is currently an emergency closure in place at Colwick Road at the junction of Racecourse Road, Nottingham, due to a gas leak.
The closure has been in place since Thursday, December 2 and will now remain in place until Tuesday, December 14.
The works are being carried out by Cadent Gas and Nottingham City Council have told motorists to expect minor delays to their journeys.
NCT buses have had to divert services due to the ongoing closure.
In a Twitter post, NCT buses said: "Colwick Road remains closed due to on-going gasworks.
"We have received notification that these works will last until 14th December. Red 44/A are using Daleside Road in both directions."
