Drivers have been told to expect delays after a three vehicle crash blocked two lanes of a major motorway.
Motorists heading southbound on the M6 will be stuck in traffic for around 25 minutes attempting to pass junction 20 of the M6, at Lymm Interchange, after a crash between two cars and a van.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the two outside lanes of the carriageway have been blocked by the smash, leading to queueing traffic in the area.

Officers from North West Motorway Police are on scene.
A tweet from the group's account read: "Patrols are currently making to a 3 vehicle RTC on the M6 SB at J20.
"Two lanes are blocked. Expect delays in the area."
Highways England are expecting the crash to clear between 6.15 and 6.30pm this evening, with emergency services on scene to clear the area.
Traffic is currently passing the incident at an average speed of 10mph, with heavy traffic backing up to junction 22.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area where possible to help ease congestion.
