Delays after three vehicle smash closes two lanes on the M6

Drivers have been told to expect delays after a three vehicle crash blocked two lanes of a major motorway.

Motorists heading southbound on the M6 will be stuck in traffic for around 25 minutes attempting to pass junction 20 of the M6, at Lymm Interchange, after a crash between two cars and a van.

According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the two outside lanes of the carriageway have been blocked by the smash, leading to queueing traffic in the area.
