Deji vs Alex Wassabi fight UK time: Start time and live stream for YouTube bout

YouTube stars Deji and Alex Wassabi will finally square off after a years-long rivalry at the OVO Arena Wembley tonight.

Deji Olatunji, from the UK, understands that fellow social media sensation Wassabi is standing between him and a boxing career after suffering two losses in his first bouts.

And Wassabi, from America, knows that he needs a big win on foreign soil to reaffirm his position as a top YouTube star after slipping from the spotlight in recent years.

The pair head up an exciting eight-fight card that includes the likes of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy facing Kristen Hanby and the boxing debuts of reality TV star Ashley Cain and Canadian social star Kyle 'Stromedy' Godfrey.

There are a number of celebrities expected to attend the event, with thousands of fans set to pack into the historic London venue and many more watching on pay-per-view.

Here's all you need to know about this weekend's event...

Rules

These bouts are all novice exhibitions, but the ruleset will be slightly different to YouTube boxing matches we've seen in the past.

The fighters will wear 12oz gloves with no headgear, a big difference from the last event of this nature in the UK when KSI and Logan Paul fought in 2018.

Back then, they all wore 16oz gloves and clunky headgear, which vastly decreased the chance of knockouts in the fights.

Quotes corner

Stromedy: "This time fans can expect something different, we've been taking this really seriously.

"We're going up to Big Bear in California for high elevation training, we've been running miles and miles every day, two sessions a day, pad work and sparring.

"That was something I'd never done, and I love the build-up to the fight more than everything, that's the lit part and I'm really excited."

Kristen Hanby: "Vitaly is a dozy idiot - I saw a clip of him sparring the other day and I couldn't stop laughing.

"I screen recorded it and I've watched it back 30 times, he's pathetic - he's talking all this stuff but he's getting slept!

"I don't know where he's getting this 60 seconds from, I don't know what he's been taking, he's not going to even land a clean punch on me.

"I'm going to stop him, I can see it now the referee is going to jump in and be saying 'he's had enough, he's had enough, he can't breathe!'

"He's going to need the referee to get me off him."
