Dejan Lovren congratulated Jurgen Klopp on masterminding Liverpool's sensational comeback against Barcelona , and says the manager's teamtalk was the first of its kind.
The Croatian defender - who scored the winner in Liverpool's epic comeback to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-3 in the Europa League quarter-finals at Anfield in 2016, was an unused substitute for the clash against Barca.
But, as he warmed up, he could be seen rushing to celebrate with Divock Origi when the Belgian scored the all-important winner at the Kop end, and he then joined in the celebrations on the pitch at full-time.
Lovren now has a chance to play in a second successive Champions League final after appearing in last season's defeat to Real Madrid , and he heaped praise on his manager at full-time.

"Before the game he did an amazing speech.
"It was something brilliant and I think he lifted us so high. It was just 'Believe! Put it in your mind that we can do it'. It was something that we've never heard before.

"He said: 'Boys, believe. One or two goals, even if we don't score in the first 15, 20 minutes, believe in the 65th, 66th, 67th minute that we can score, and then with Anfield behind us, trust me guys, we can do it.
"'We did it once against Dortmund, we can do it tonight. Just show f******* balls tonight.' And we did it!"
