Dejan Lovren has revealed he drove to Anfield to watch Liverpool supporters celebrate on the night they claimed the Premier League title.
The Reds won the league for the first time in 30 years after Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
That prompted thousands of Liverpool supporters to flock to Anfield to celebrate their title win, sparking mad scenes outside the ground.
Liverpool players held their own celebrations after watching the game together.
However, Lovren has revealed that he drove to Anfield to witness the fans celebrating from inside his car, wearing a mask to avoid being spotted, despite club officials asking players to remain away from the stadium.
"Yes! I did something that I don't know if anybody knows," he said.
"You are the first person that knows. After the game, a lot of all the fans went to the stadium, it was a big party.
"They told us 'guys don't even go to the stadium' because you will have problems, we can't keep you safe.
"I said to myself, the party was almost over, 'I don't want to go to sleep, it's too early, at midnight' so I took the car and went to Anfield, just to experience this.
"I drove myself there, I have a video, I put the mask on and my god, tens of thousands of people celebrating and I just wanted to feel this emotion.
"We had a good celebration in the stadium but it was empty, I needed to do it and I was really happy I did it. It was a good experience.
"Maybe three people (recognised him) because I put my mask down to see my phone. In this second like four of them saw me but it was really good.
"I was alone, nobody else. I said to Adrian I was going and he said 'no you're lying'. I went and sent him some videos, he was surprised."
