Dejan Lovren drops hint over Liverpool future amid links to Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has dropped a hint over his future amid transfer links with Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham.

The Croatia international has just over a year left on his contract at Anfield and has been heavily linked with a departure from the Premier League leaders.

At 30-years-old, the World Cup finalist still has enough in the tank for a few more years at the top level and a host of clubs have been linked with a move for his signature.

The most expensive Premier League transfers ever

Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham are among them, with the former Southampton man seen as someone who can improve their defensive lines.

However, Lovren appears to have poured cold water over the gossip suggesting he could leave Jurgen Klopp's side by hinting he could stay at the club.

"It’s important to have a mix between really young players, the middle [age] players and the experienced players," he told the club's official website.

"I think we have it, this is the great balance. We are used to playing big finals and the big games and we know how to manage it. Even when we are 1-0 down we know what to do.

"This is why it’s important to have a balance in the team. If we keep the important players and the core of the team here for many years, we will only grow."

Prior to the suspension of the season, Lovren had made just 14 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez ahead of him in the pecking order.
