Defiant Denise Welch tells NASA 'to do one' after her star sign changes

Denise Welch has told NASA to 'do one' after being left furious by the fact that her star sign had changed as a result of them uncovering a new sign of the Zodiac.

Yes, like many others out there, according to NASA, Geordie actress Denise has been reading the wrong horoscope for years, as there are actually 12 rather than 13 star signs.

The star sign changes have been brought about by the reveal of a 13th sign - Ophiuchus - which has meant that the dates for all other signs have been altered.

And proud Gemini, Denise who said she identified with the description of Geminis being "social butterflies," and "flirtatious" but also having a darker, more anxious side, was not impressed to learn that the changes had put her into the Taurus category.

On being told she was now a different star sign live on Loose Women by host Andrea McLean, Denise was having none of it, responding: "No, I'm certainly not a Taurus, I'm not! And NASA can go do one, 'cos I'm not a Taurus."

That was despite the fact that, according to something Andrea read out, Tauruses are "talented and tenacious at work and romantic and sensual in relationships," to which Denise's co-star Nadia Sawalha joked, "She wants to be one now!"

Addressing the changes in star signs, a spokesperson for NASA said: "The line from Earth through the sun points to Virgo for 45 days, but it points to Scorpius for only seven days.

“To make a tidy match with their 12-month calendar, the Babylonians ignored the fact the sun actually moves through 13 constellations, not 12.”
