The New York Giants and Jets met in the Meadowlands on Thursday in week 1 of the 2019 NFL Preseason, with plenty of Bulldogs suited up on the field.
Deandre Baker, Lorenzo Carter and Alec Ogletree would go on to have fairly short but productive nights for the G-Men, recording 4 total tackles.
Meanwhile, former Georgia great John Jenkins had the most tackles of any Bulldog on the field, recording 3 for the green and white.
Aside from some quick snaps early on in the game, this was not a contest where we got significant looks at the teams’ top-line starters.
However, more production from the first-teams is to be expected as the season draws near, including these Damn Good Dawgs.
