Defenseman Dylan McIlrath agrees to contract with Rangers

The Rangers announced on Friday morning that they have agreed to a new contract with restricted free-agent defenseman Dylan McIlrath.

Terms of the deal were not released.

McIlrath, 24, appeared in 34 games this past season and had two goals and two assists.

The McIlrath signing leaves Chris Kreider and Kevin Hayes as the remaining restricted free agents for the Rangers.

The Rangers also announced the signings of restricted free- agent defenseman Tommy Hughes and free-agent forward Josh Jooris.
