Rangers are keeping tabs on Volendam defender Xavier Mbuyamba, according to a report.
The centre back, 23, only has a year to run on his contract at the Dutch side and is so far refusing to extend it. They are therefore said to be open to selling in this window for just €500k (£435k).
Mbuyamba has been linked to both Celtic and Rangers in the past and the Ibrox club are still said to be monitoring the situation.
But that is the case for Belgian club Gent and sides in England too, who are alert to the chance to snap him up on a bargain deal.
He was also recently being tracked by clubs in Turkey, Italy and Poland.
