'Defence needs work!' - Chelsea fans send message to Frank Lampard ahead of Man United clash

Chelsea fans have been reacting with mixed views after their side were held by Borussia Monchengladbach in their final pre-season game.

The Blues found themselves 2-0 down at half-time against their German counterparts, but Frank Lampard's side showed plenty and heart desire in the second period to rescue themselves a draw.

A pair of penalties from Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley were enough to restore parity, after strikes from Alassane Plea and Jonas Hofmann fired the hosts into a commanding lead.

Chelsea kick off their Premier League campaign away to Manchester United next Sunday, and Blues fans reacting to the game on Twitter.

Many have been quick to highlight their side's poor defending throughout, with many hoping for an improvement when Lampard's side take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men at Old Trafford next weekend.
