Defamed actor awarded more money

Australian actor Judy Davis is to receive an extra $10,000 (£4,500) in her defamation action against the Sydney Daily Telegraph. It means that the paper's publishers, Nationwide News - a Rupert Murdoch company – must now pay her a total of $151,000 (£69,000). I reported the original award here. (Via The Australian/AAP)
