A wild deer has been spotted roaming around Dalkey - and locals are concerned it might come to harm while on the moose.
The 'scared and confused' animal was seen early this morning entrance to the south Dublin town's Village Gate.
It was then spotted 'running over and back across Dalkey Avenue as cars approached' prompting one local to take to social media with her concerns.

The local wrote: "We came across this young deer at the entrance to the Village Gate this morning (about 07.45), it was scared and confused, running over and back across Dalkey Avenue as cars approached.
"Last seen it ran onto the green at Hillside."
