Group gatherings have been banned by the government during the coronavirus pandemic crisis but that doesn’t affect this family of deer.
With the streets of Wishaw a lot quieter than would normally be they took the opportunity to explore the streets of Coltness last week.
Resident John Opray, captured them from the window of his home in Coldstream Crescent as they left their usual confines and searched curiously for food in the normally busy residential area.
The video was posted on social media and by some of the responses it would seem it’s not just Coltness where the deer are daring to roam.
Carol Anne Smith, said: “It backs onto woods where there are loads of deer.
“I’m up in Cambusnethan backing onto the same woods from the opposite side and one was in my back garden one morning.
“Not sure who got the bigger fright when I went out to the bin.”
