Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon runners will be getting a new medal for 2019

The event organisers of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon are delighted to reveal a new BIGGER design medal for all marathon finishers this year!

The medal will be a fantastic momento as the event makes history this year, taking place on a Sunday for the first time ever.

The 38 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will take place on Sunday May 5 2019 with a brand new flatter faster route for marathon and team relay participants, finishing in Ormeau Park.

Ideal for a first marathon or to set the much sought after PB, marathon numbers are already at a record high since the event launched in 1982 with over 5,000 expected to take part in 2019.

Introducing Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon charity ambassador William Oliver

In addition to the marathon, there is an event to suit all levels of abilities on May 5 including the team relay, 9 mile walk and 2.5 mile fun run.  All participants will enjoy their own bespoke brand new design medal (a first ever for the fun run event).

It’s not too late to sign up. You could make history this year and receive a fantastic new BIGGER design medal to reward your 26.2 mile journey.
