Dee Radio presenter Mike James has been found dead at the age of 62.
The star died at Dee Radio studios in Chantry Court, Chester on Saturday.
Mike's death is not being treated as suspicious and is believed to be the result of a medical episode.
After recording his weekly show, he was found dead by a colleague shortly after 6pm on Saturday and an ambulance arrived on the premises at 6.13pm.
The police later arrived at 6.55pm following a call regarding a sudden death.
Mike's family and loved ones have been informed of his death and are currently receiving support.
According to Cheshire Live, a Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended the scene and found that a 62-year-old man had died.
"The man is believed to have suffered from a medical episode and his death is not believed to be suspicious, a case file will now be prepared for the coroner."
Mike's colleagues are now mourning his passing and one spoke out about his death.
He was best known for presenting the Saturday Sport Show and had been with the radio station for over 15 years.
Programme Director Phil Rodgers said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened to hear this tragic news.
"Mike was an outstanding broadcaster and a good friend to everyone here at Chester’s Dee Radio as well as a popular presenter amongst our listeners.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time."
