Dee Devlin breaks silence after Conor McGregor defeat with sweet birthday message

Dee Devlin has broken her silence following her fiancee's Conor McGregor 's UFC defeat to wish her 'king' a happy birthday.

The Notorious one is currently recovering from ankle surgery after suffering a horror break in his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier on Sunday morning.

But he's celebrating his 33rd birthday today, with his family and friends all taking to social media to wish him well.

And his longtime partner Devlin has now sent him a sweet message on Instagram, her first action since his dramatic loss over the weekend.

She said: "Happy birthday my king! I Love you".

Meanwhile, McGregor has been urged to part ways with his longtime coach John Kavanagh after his loss to Poirier over the weekend.

UFC legend Michael Bisping took issue with Kavanagh's post-fight comments as he urged McGregor to look elsewhere for guidance.

“Just like his coach John Kavanagh said, he said ‘oh, I saw nothing that concerned me. I knew that in the second round we were getting the knockout. Nothing else in there concerned me at all.’ If that’s true, John Kavanagh, Conor should fire you immediately,” Bisping told BT Sport.

“That was very concerning, you were on your back and you were getting dominated. It was a 10-8 round, that’s concerning. You don’t want to get your ass kicked, simple as that and that was what was happening."

He added: “The leg break was unfortunate. But, as I say it gives McGregor an excuse or a reason as to why the fight ended.

“If that didn’t happen, come on the odds of him turning it around and finishing Dustin in the second round when round one is supposed to be Conor’s best round, it wasn’t good. It wasn’t a good performance.”
