Dedryck Boyata latest after Celtic star sparks fears he could miss Rangers clash

Dedryck Boyata is still set to face Rangers next week despite withdrawing from international duty with Belgium.

The Celtic star dropped out of the Red Devils' squad to face Cyprus on Tuesday for "personal reasons".

That sparked fears he may miss the Ibrox outfit's visit to Parkhead on March 31.

However, Record Sport Online understands it is NOT likely to affect Boyata 's availability for the showdown with Steven Gerrard's side.

Doubts remain over Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig as both defenders picked up injuries whilst away with their respective nations.

Tierney did not feature in the humiliating 3-0 defeat to Kazakhstan and has returned home instead of travelling to San Marino for Scotland's second Euro 2020 qualifer.

Lustig started for Sweden against Romania on Saturday but was substituted after picking up a knock with less than 25 minutes played.
