The family of a pedestrian who died in a crash involving two cars in Carmarthenshire have paid tribute to a “dedicated family man”.
Brian Guest, who was 61 and from Trimsaran, was walking when he was involved in a collision with two cars on the B4317 near Ffos Las, around seven miles west of Llanelli, on the morning of Sunday, January 23.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

It was confirmed two days later - on Tuesday, January 25 - that he had died in hospital of injuries sustained in the incident.
A statement released via Dyfed-Powys Police on Monday morning read: “The family of the pedestrian sadly killed following a collision on 23/01/22 have paid tribute to him. Brian Guest, aged 61, from Trimsaran, was a dedicated family man and will be missed by all. The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash, which involved a black Mercedes SLK and a grey Honda Jazz.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10.50am on Sunday, January 23, on the B4317 near to Ffos Las, heading towards Trimsaran.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone living in the area with CCTV or ring doorbells is asked to contact the investigation team with any information. Dyfed-Powys Police can be contacted either online, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.”
