A couple's decorating disaster created the uncanny likeness of Daonald Trump staring back at them from bed - in an optical illusion left when the boyfriend put his foot through the bedframe. Charlotte Beaumont, 23, and boyfriend Josh, 27, were in the middle of decorating Josh's bedroom and he'd stepped onto the divan bed frame to reach a corner of wallpaper when his foot went through making two holes.
When the pair propped the frame up against the wall to crack on with the rest of the room, they noticed tensed eyebrows and square white teeth. But the couple had to do a double take when they spotted the likeness of the former president of the US peering at them.
Support worker Charlotte joked that even the shade of the frame matched Trump's tanned skin. Charlotte, from Halifax, West Yorks, said: "We were decorating and Josh walked across the bed which is how the footprints ended up there. We propped it against the wall and we were in bed at the other side of the room.
"We were in the new bed facing the old frame and we were like 'it looks like a face, it just needs to googly eyes' We could see Donald Trump. We found it really funny, we were laughing.
"It looks like it's got teeth and Trump is a bit tanned. I'm not a follower of Trump though. He looks quite angry. His eyebrows are close together and he doesn't look happy."
Despite the unusual likeness to the former president, the frame has since been put in the skip. Charlotte posted an image of the frame on social media and the post was flooded with comments from people sharing who they thing it looks like.
