Decorated G Josh Sitton to officially retire as a Packer

Former Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton will officially retire from the NFL as a member of the franchise, the team announced Wednesday.

Sitton, a three-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro, played 134 total games for the Packers between 2009 and 2015. He was a Pro Bowler for the Packers in 2012, 2014 and 2015, an All-Pro every year between 2013-15 and a Super Bowl champion in 2010.

Sitton last played in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 2018. He also played for the Chicago Bears in 2016 and 2017.

The Packers drafted Sitton in the fourth round of the 2008 draft. He started all 16 games during six of his eight seasons and missed only two games over his seven seasons as a starter.

The Packers released him on Sept. 3, 2016.
