Declan Rice sends Liverpool 'upset' warning as David Moyes says what 'everybody knows'

West Ham captain Declan Rice has sent a warning to Liverpool ahead of their meeting this weekend.

The Reds take on the Hammers in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently second place in the league standings, three adrift of leaders Chelsea following their draw with Brighton last weekend.

Liverpool take on a West Ham side who are in good form, and are on an unbeaten run of six matches in all competitions.

The Hammers are fourth in the Premier League, two points behind Liverpool, and are in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after knocking out Manchester City.

West Ham are also top of their Europa League group, and Rice spoke about facing Liverpool after their recent match.

Speaking after West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Genk, Rice insists that his side have nothing to fear and will look to ‘cause an upset’ against Liverpool.

“We know what Liverpool are like, they’re world class,” Rice told BT Sport. “[They’ve got] top players up and down the pitch.

“It’s the last game before the international break, let’s go out there and give it everything.

“What have we got to lose? We’re in the top four.

“Let’s go out there and try and cause an upset.”

Hammers boss David Moyes echoed the same views, adding that he is looking forward to locking horns with Klopp’s side.

“Big game,” Moyes told BT Sport, when asked about his thoughts ahead of facing Liverpool.

“Everybody knows that Liverpool are a super team, it looks like a good game.”
