Rice rejects deal
Declan Rice has reportedly rejected a new deal at West Ham because he is frustrated with the club's £100million asking price, as per the Metro.
Though Rice is not demanding an immediate exit, he’s made it clear that he wants to win major silverware and it’s unlikely that the Hammers will be able to match his long-term ambition.
However, he feels as though he’s being priced out of a move away from the club as the Hammers have slapped a huge price tag on him.
Chelsea have previously been linked with a move to sign him but he might prove too expensive even for a club of their spending power.
Chelsea to announce three transfers ahead of deadline day
The Blues are reportedly close to securing the departures of three players ahead of the final week of the transfer window.
Young striker Ike Ugbo is close to returning to Belgium after starring for Cercle Brugge last term.
Another likely permanent departure is that of Davide Zappacosta, with the Italian having fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, from permanent deals, Tiemoue Bakayoko is apparently edging close to yet another loan deal.

Gallagher on why he chose Crystal Palace
Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher has revealed that Patrick Vieira was the main reason alone why he chose to move to Crystal Palace this summer over Leeds United after an impressive debut.
Gallagher, 21, was the man of the match in the Eagles' 0-0 draw with Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Asked why he picked Palace over Leeds, he explained to the media: "“I liked what the manager Patrick Vieira was saying. I feel like it suited me very nicely and like I could express myself the best here.
"He wants me to do what I do best, which is basically all I want to hear. He knows the type of player I am. He knows that I want to get up and down the pitch and just play with freedom. That definitely helped persuade me.”
