Declan Rice puts Manchester United on 'red alert' and other transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly been put on 'red alert' after a development in Declan Rice's contract talks.

According to The Guardian, Rice has turned down a third contract offer from David Moyes and is now open to a summer transfer away from the London Stadium. They claim that Rice understands Moyes and the Hammers do not want to sell him.

Moyes has previously placed a price tag of £150m on Rice. The midfielder is wanted by United as they look to strengthen their options. The England international's current contract runs out in 2024 but West Ham do have the option to extend it by a further year should they wish.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Marcus Rashford has come to a decision on his United future. The out-of-form forward is hopeful of being part of United's future under Erik ten Hag.

The Manchester Evening News reported earlier this year that Rashford was considering his future at Old Trafford after being dropped for United's thumping at Manchester City. However, the Daily Star claim that the 24-year-old is ready to sit down with United bosses to discuss a new deal in June. Rashford's current contract is set to expire in 2023.
