Declan Donnelly has revealed that he woke up naked in a hotel corridor after sleepwalking.
The 47-year-old spoke of the shocking incident during an interview on Scott Mills’s BBC Radio 2 show alongside presenter partner and pal Ant McPartlin this week.
The duo got into a conversation about reality TV shows with host Mills, including Naked and Afraid – a US series that sees a group of people challenged with surviving in a dangerous environment with limited resources.
When Mills asked if the pair had ever watched the show, Donnelly said he hadn't but added: “I was like that once at a hotel in Nottingham where I sleepwalked naked in the corridor.”
Laughing, he continued: “I woke up to the door clicking behind me. I was naked and afraid then too.”
McPartlin then quipped: “So was the person opposite looking through the peephole!”
Earlier in the chat, Donnelly detailed their daily lives when filming I'm A Celebrity...
He said: “We get off at midday, we have a few hours, we have dinner at 4.30 and go to bed at 6 o’clock.”
McPartlin said the previous years were like a “stag-do”, but that 2022, as both had their wives and families with them in Australia, was “a bit more mature, not just a lads’ holiday!”
