Declan Donnelly goes for dog walk ahead of Britain's Got Talent return with Ant

Declan Donnelly will be mentally preparing for reaction ahead of Britain's Got Talent 's return - his first TV appearance alongside his partner Ant McPartlin in almost a year.

So with a spot of downtime after a busy couple of months filming auditions for the ITV talent competition, Dec took the opportunity to go for a walk.

The host was seen out with his beloved dacshund Rocky pounding the pavements in Chiswick in the spring sunshine.

Dec, 43, attempted to go incognito as he donned a black baseball cap, a black gilet and black joggers, as he walked his adorable pooch along the street.

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly 'earned a whopping £12,000 A DAY' last year

The Geordie duo have been off our screens since March 2018 after Ant, 43, took time off following his arrest for drink driving.

Their hotly anticipated TV comeback on Saturday night's BGT, will likely bring in millions as viewers tuning in to watch the first round of auditions.

Dec's jaunt comes as the pair are said to have earned a Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly 'earned a whopping £12,000 A DAY' last year , despite Ant being off for most of it.

Ant missed most of his presenting duties on ITV in 2018 after being involved in the crash.

He was found guilty and fined a record £86,000, and revealed he'd be taking time out to seek treatment in rehab.

Ant hosted most of Saturday Night Takeaway and the Britain's Got Talent auditions, but Dec was left to host the rest alone.

Ant also missed I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! with pal Holly Willoughby stepping in to present the show with Dec.

But despite that, The Sun reports that the pair earned £85,000 a week, according to accounts for their company Hurley Promotions Ltd.

The firm is named after the pet dog Ant shares with his ex Lisa Armstrong, and has reportedly seen profits rise to £4.4 million.

The newspaper also said last week that Geordie star Ant added £3.1 million to his fortune last year with his firm Teecourt Ltd.

They also say Mitre Holdings, another company run by Ant and Dec is now worth £2.7 million, with an increase of £400,000 from 2017.
