Declan Donnelly enjoys lads' holiday without Ant as he prepares to move into £6m love nest

Ant and Dec used to be joined at the hip but one of them missed out on a lads' holiday this week.

Declan Donnelly spent some rare time apart from his famous pal on a trip to Portugal as Ant prepares to move house.

The 43-year-old was joined by Dragons' Den star Peter Jones and two other pals to enjoy a round of golf during the break.

Dec looked happy as he flashed a grin for the camera in the group shot.

Peter posted the snap on Instagram , writing: "Getting some practice in preparation for @dunhilllinks. Certainly needed as Dec and Jonny took the money.

"Off to the driving range now! #golf #friends #dunhilllinks."

The showbizzy post comes as Ant gets ready to move into a £6million mansion with his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett and her two children.

The plush pad boasts bedrooms, a home cinema, an orangery and a seriously swanky master bathroom.

Anne-Marie, who shares her two daughters with estranged husband Scott Corbett, will uproot the family and move into the huge mansion with her famous boyfriend.

The pair only went public with their relationship in June 2018, six months after Ant announced he and wife of 11 years Lisa Armstrong were splitting following his first stint in rehab to tackle his addiction to prescription painkillers.

Meanwhile Dec has been enjoying a holiday with his wife Ali Astall and their baby daughter Isla, as well as other famous ITV names .

This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are also on the holiday.

Earlier this summer, Rochelle Humes and comedian Romesh Raganathan jetted out to the star-studded Algarve resort for some time away from the UK.

But Ant has been notably absent from the holiday spirit, ahead of his return to screens with Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, which starts on August 31 on ITV.
