Declan Donnelly looked dapper as he joined fellow football fans at Old Trafford to watch United vs Newcastle.

Dec - one half of the award-winning TV presenting duo Ant and Dec - raised laughs as he shared a picture of himself at the match looking 'confused' from their official Twitter account.

And the telly favourite, who was smartly dressed in a suit, jokingly asked 'what's happening here then?'

One fan chuckled: "I don’t know Dec. I think you might be at the wrong stadium."

"Your looking stunningly smart for a football game," clarified another follower.

"Love it. Hope ur having a good time xxx

Ant and Dec made National Television Award history as they won Best Presenter for the 20th time (ITV)

And another said: "Very Dapper! Where’s the Toon Shirt?"

All eyes are on Old Trafford today as Manchester United host Newcastle in the Premier League.

The Reds have welcomed home Cristiano Ronaldo following his transfer from Juventus.

Dec and his co-presenter pal Ant McPartlin are both devoted Newcastle United fans.

Last year they even had a TV set up so they could watch the Magpies' trip to Crystal Palace during breaks in filming for I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

On Thursday night the pair had another triumphant night at the National Television Awards, winning Best Presenter for the 20th year in a row.

The Geordie duo emerged victorious once again after beating Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh, Holly Willoughby and Piers Morgan.

Ant said on stage: "This one means the most ... 20 years. Oh my god I'm shaking!

"This is really, really special, you've got no idea how special this is. Thank you very, very much."

And Dec said: "It's pretty overwhelming erm thank you to ITV for all your continued support. To our management YMU, thanks for looking after us so brilliantly.

"To our lovely wives, thank you for looking after us too. To our families at home thank you so much."
