Declan Donnelly BLASTS I’m A Celebrity ‘fix’ claims: ‘You’re clutching at straws!’

Motivation: Declan Donnelly provided some sound advice for Fleur East (Picture: ITV)

Declan Donnelly has hit back at claims I’m A Celebrity is fixed after Sair Khan became the third celeb to be evicted from the jungle.

Fans voiced their suspicions, claiming Khan’s hair had been “done up” while others accused her of wearing makeup.

One user tweeted: “@Imacelebrity still not rigged? #SairKhan had done her hair and was ready to leave.... hmmmm something a bit fishy about these vote offs @antanddec @hollywills (sic).”

Donnelly replied: “Done her hair? You’re clutching at straws now! #ImACeleb.”

Other viewers appeared to agree with the TV host, highlighting that Khan previously had her hair in plaits, which she had taken out, resulting in wavy hair.

One user wrote: “Had done her hair? It was literally wavy cos she took her plaits out.”

Exit: Sair Khan bounded over the bridge to reunite with the outside world (ITV)

Another hit out: “She had plaits in and then took them out which made her hair wavy. It’s a well known girl’s hair hack. So yeah her hair was ‘done’ (sic)”.

A third wrote: “Everyone is told to pack and be ready when there’s an eviction!”

The response comes after I’m A Celebrity bosses broke their silence over claims Noel Edmonds and Malique Thompson-Dwyer knew they would be evicted as they were wearing their rucksacks minutes before getting the boot.

A spokesperson told Standard Online: “This is categorically not true. All celebrities find out who is leaving the jungle when Holly and Dec announce this on the show.”

Khan said she felt “really good” on being booted out and described her two week experience as “weird”.

“I felt like I was in the television watching I’m a celeb,” she said. “I got in there and I felt a weird emotion. It took me a few days to calm down.”

I'm A Celebrity is on ITV, tonight at 9pm
