Declan Devine isn't happy with league bosses as his Derry City side face marathon journeys to Cork and Dublin for league fixtures between tonight and Monday night.
The Foylesiders take on Cork City tonight at Turner's Cross before hitting the road again for the clash with Bohemians at Dalymount Park at the start of next week.
"Having had one game in five weeks we now face a combined 900-mile round trip for two very important games in a 72-hour period," said Devine.
"The planning gone into the fixture list is strange to say the least.
"With an away game against Bohs on Monday we must cover a lot of miles, but we're delighted to have the opportunity to get the players back on the pitch.
"Our record away from home has been excellent all year and we are really looking forward to the two matches.

"The players have been magnificent in terms of how they have approached this season - the performances, effort and desire to do well have been fantastic and they deserve all the credit.
“I’ve said numerous times that Cork is probably the most difficult ground in the country to win at despite their start to the season, and this will be a really tough game for us.”
This is Cork's first home game in 42 days and Cork's interim manager John Cotter said: “It would be great to get another win in Turner’s Cross in front of the supporters to kick start the second half of the season.
"We’re under no illusions, it won’t be handed to us either. Derry are having a great season themselves.
"They got a bit of momentum at the start, and they’ve carried it on. We’re under no illusions that we have to be at our best to go out and earn the three points."
Meanwhile Devine has refused to be drawn on speculation that fourth-placed Derry want to sign Dundalk's Stephen Folan and Conor Davis of UCD.
“Every club will be looking to strengthen during the window and we’re no different," said the Candystripes supremo.
"There'll be more clubs than us looking to speak to those players, but similarly we're also looking at other options as well".
