Decisions on playing Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita made for respective AFCON qualifiers

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita are set to play for their respective nations in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Liverpool trio will join up with Egypt, Senegal and Guinea later this month for matches taking place during the international break, shortly after the Premier League showdown with Manchester City.

Egypt manager Hossam El Badry recalled Salah to his latest squad after agreeing to rest the forward for the 1-0 friendly win over Botswana earlier this month.

The Pharaohs begin their 2021 AFCON campaign against visiting Kenya on November 14 before travelling to face Comoros four days later.

Meanwhile, Senegal will play Congo on November 13 before taking on Swatini four days later and Mane was selected by Teranaga Lions boss Aliou Cisse to  take part.

Keita has also returned to the Guinea squad after he missed their friendly internationals against Comoros and Chile last month.

The 24-year-old has only recently returned from injury but was named by coach Didier Six for their upcoming qualifiers against Mali on November 14 and Namibia three days later.

The Reds face Manchester City on November 10 and travel to Crystal Palace on November 23 with the international break in between.

There is then just four days before Jurgen Klopp's side play their penultimate Champions League group game at home against Napoli which is followed by a three day gap to the next match against Brighton and another four day break to the Merseyside derby on December 4.

Liverpool then face an incredibly busy period in December with a game almost every three days and the trip to Qatar for the World Club Cup thrown in the mix too starting on December 18.
