Dec Donnelly finally took a break from his busy I'm A Celebrity jungle presenting duties to enjoy some well-deserved family time.

The TV presenter, 44, was snapped playing peek-a-boo with his one-year-old daughter Isla as he headed out for lunch with wife Ali Astall, 40, and his mother-in-law on Saturday afternoon.

The family didn't venture too far from the set of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and enjoyed a meal at a restaurant in Cotton Tree, Queensland, Australia.

The telly favourite made the most of his TV downtime as he picked up his adorable toddler and carried her out of the car.

The famous TV host appeared joyous as he watched Isla giggling after he made funny faces at her.

Dec looked chilled and relaxed as he enjoyed the afternoon off wearing camel-coloured chino shorts and a navy blue shirt.

His wife Ali appeared to be enjoying her holiday as she showed off her glow in a black maxi dress, while shr covered her face with a pair of dark sunglasses.

One-year-old Isla looked adorable in a cute blue summer dress with a pretty flower design.

Dec appeared in high-spirits as he reveled in spending quality time with his family under the Australian sunshine.

This year is a big change for Dec and Ali as it's their first trip Down Under as parents.

They welcomed their daughter Isla earlier in the year, and they've brought her along for the entire I'm A Celeb run.

One episode of the show last week hit headlines after Dec was spotted with a nasty looking burn on his arm.

Dec later revealed exactly how he sustained an injury to his arm - and it was done in the line of being a good parent.

While fans speculated if it was a bruise or an insect bite (among some saucier suggestions), the man himself took to social media to clear up the mystery.

Announcing the truth via the official And and Dec twitter account, Dec wrote: “Nothing exciting unfortunately. I scalded myself while sterilising Isla’s dummies!”

Dec touched down first with his family in Australia followed by co-host Ant McPartlin and his girlfriend Anne Marie-Corbett.
