'Dec' brands 'Ant' a 'scum spam head' and reveals posh accent in long-forgotten spoof

Fans of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have been tickled by an unearthed spoof which shows secretly-posh 'Dec' calling his sidekick a "big fat spam head".

The pair were a regular feature on Channel 4's Star Stories, and in one episode titled, Simon Cowell : My Honesty, My Genius - Dec, played by Fergus Craig, berates Simon Cowell (Kevin Bishop) for pairing him with Ant (Trevor Lock) on Pop Idol.

"Shut up b**** t*ts and call me Declan, who am I presenting this crap with?" Dec demands, dropping his fake Geordie accent to reveal his real posh accent.

And when Cowell tells him it's Ant, he erupts, "B*****ks, not him again the Geordie tw*t. He's sh*t, standing around with that big fat spam head."

Confused, Cowell starts to say he thought they were mates, before being shot down by Dec.

"You thought wrong pal. You TV people in your high trousers always think wrong. Now I have to do my Geordie voice again. Balls to it! Just because I was in Byker Grove," he rages.

"Hello people, I'm an actor from f***ing Kent!"

And when Ant bumbles past, he blasts, "You're late you Geordie scum and you better have picked up my dry cleaning. Give me that croissant and show me your false laugh."

Angry Dec then loses it with Gareth Gates, telling him to "spit it out you b**tard" as he struggles through his stutter.

The cult series ran for three series from 2006 to 2008 and covered the hottest showbiz topics, including the love stories of Katie Price and Peter Andre, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Victoria and David Beckham.

It also spoofed the rise and fall of Take That and the subsequent battle between Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams before being axed in 2009 to reportedly free up cash for other shows.
