'Dec and Ant' - Ant and Dec spotted 'wrong way round' at Newcastle v Spurs match

Ant and Dec were spotted at Sunday's match, sat immediately in front of Yasir Al-Rumayyan and Amanda Staveley as a new era begins for Newcastle.

And it wasn't just the owners which were different on Sunday, as viewers watching Newcastle's loss to Spurs noticed.

Geordie presenters Ant and Dec travelled up from London to watch their beloved Newcastle and had some of the best seats in the house near the club's buyers.

As fans know, the pair usually always sit and stand in the same order, with Ant to the right of Dec,

So anybody looking at them sees Ant on the left and Dec on the right, in alphabetical order - a trick some use to identify who is Ant and who is Dec.

And when they first sat down at St James', the presenters were sat in their usual order.

But later in the game, Ant and Dec switched seats and were pictured 'the wrong way round", as viewers watching on Sky Sports noticed.

"Dad is absolutely livid that ant and dec are sat the wrong way round at the Newcastle game," posted @absjcx

Neil Taylor tweeted: "The only thing worse than a loss today is seeing Dec and Ant sat the wrong way round #mindblown the biggest change at #NUFC since last week lol."

Newcastle lost their first match of the PIF era, despite taking an early lead through Callum Wilson.

There was a party atmosphere around St James' ahead of the game, with fans jubilant about the departure of Mike Ashley.

Both Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are life-long Newcastle fans.

Since beginning their career on Byker Grove, the duo and best friends have enjoyed success as popstars and presenters, and are usually always seen in the Ant-Dec order.
