Debenhams has confirmed it will close its store in Newport for the last time next month.
The company has confirmed its Friars Walk store, which opened with the centre in 2015, will be one of 11 outlets which will close for the final time on Tuesday, May 4.
It will follow 16 other stores around the UK which will close on May 2.
The stores in Wales closing on this date are Carmarthen, Llandudno, Llanelli and Wrexham. The Bangor store will also close on May 4.
A company spokesperson confirmed its remaining stores would close between May 4 and May 15.
In January Debenhams announced the permanent closure of all its physical UK stores after agreeing the sale of the brand to online-only retailer Boohoo for £55 million.
Shoppers in Wales at the time called the demise of the bricks-and-mortar shops a "sad day" for the brand, which has been a mainstay on the high street for 242 years.

The company reopened its Welsh stores last week to hold a final closing down sale which saw shoppers queuing outside Friars Walk.
Shoppers can still get 80% off fashion and home and up to 70% off beauty and fragrance until the stores close.
A spokesperson for Debenhams said: "With such great bargains on offer, it’s no wonder our stock is selling out incredibly fast.
"Time is running out for shoppers to take advantage of the incredible discounts being offered at these 27 stores."
