Debenhams has reopened on the high street - and shoppers are getting tickets to go inside

For the first time since every single store in the UK was forced to shut, Debenhams is reopening.

A flagship Debenhams beauty store is opening in Manchester's Arndale, and will sell cosmetics, fragrance and skincare products.

The launch of the store, spreading across two floors and covering a total area of 7,552 sq. ft of retail space, will give customers the chance to experience the latest from Debenhams.com Beauty.

Debenhams.com says it wants to create a destination that is 'fresh, modern, and unique'.

The Boohoo Group said: "Being an almost exclusively online company, it was essential that the store reflected that digital world, the interactive screens connect these two worlds, with real-time posting via social media platforms displayed immediately on them. The mix of horizontal, clean lines of the counters are contrasted by soft, cushioned walls, mirror the inclusive offering of the store."

On Thursday 9 December, Debenhams.com is inviting customers visit the store and will host the first VIP event from 5pm to 8pm.

The first 50 customers will receive a goodie bag with purchase on the night, alongside beauty demonstrations, exclusive offers and sampling from icons beauty brands housed at the flagship store.
