Debbie Dingle's Emmerdale exit storyline 'revealed' as fans predict Joe Tate twist

Emmerdale fans think they’ve worked out how Debbie Dingle will leave the ITV soap, as pregnant actress Charley Webb prepares for her maternity leave.

The star recently confirmed she’s expecting her third child, already mum to two boys with husband, and co-star, Matthew Wolfenden.

With Debbie set to depart the Dales soon, few details have been revealed about how the character will go.

But the pregnancy news has come amid a huge twist for the character, that saw her former fiancé Joe Tate come back from the dead.

Another tweeted: “I’m telling y’all - Debbie will conveniently not care about Sarah’s health again, dump the kids with family, and go chasing after Joe. He’ll then be killed in a freak yachting accident on the French Riviera and she’ll come back.”

A third fan made another prediction, commenting: “I’m thinking Debbie has known all along that Joe was alive and had to pretend she didn’t.”

Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
