Deaths of two men in Glasgow and Paisley prompts police appeal to trace their families

Police are appealing for help from the public to trace the relatives of two men who were found dead in Glasgow and Paisley.

Alexander Orr, was found dead within his home at Cartside Street in Battlefield on December 15. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 72-year-old.

The death of Tomasz Romaniecki, whose body was discovered within accommodation in Paisley on December 21, has also sparked a police appeal to help trace his relatives. Again, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 49-year-old.

Police believe Tomasz may have family locally or in Poland.

Anyone who has knowledge of Alexander Orr's relatives is asked to contact the Administration Department at London Road Police Office via 101 during office hours Monday to Friday, or email GreaterGlasgowDASU@scotland.pnn.police.uk.

And anyone who has knowledge of Tomasz Romaniecki's family is asked to contact 101 or email CJSD Bereavement Admin Support at CJSDBereavementAdminSupport@scotland.pnn.police.uk. Please refer to Police Incident PS-20211221-1263.
