Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PC releases March 20, includes upgrade option

If you fancy weird games that also make GPU’s sequel, Death Stranding Director’s Cut  is heading to PC soon.

After  rumors began swirling, publisher 505 Games confirmed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut  will release for PC on March 30, 2022. This enhanced version of Death Stranding will be on  Steam  and the  Epic Games Store  for $39.99.

Anyone that owns Death Standing’s  vanilla PC port can upgrade to the Director’s Cut  for $9.99 on either storefront. In terms of technical enhancements, this new version utilizes Intel’s XeSS technology for much higher framerates than was possible before. Nothing terribly fancy, but it should look better than the  PS5 release  for anyone that owns a top-tier GPU.

Several of Sony’s one-exclusive games are slowly coming to PC as of late. For instance, God of War  on PC  is an incredible port — though it’s unclear if God of War: Ragnarok  will follow suit. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection  isn’t due on the platform for a while, but here’s to hoping it’s solid as well.

Death Standing was already outstanding on PC, so there’s no doubt that the Director’s Cut will similarly be great. Now, if only they’d port Bloodborne, we’d be all set.
