If you're looking for inspiration for a Halloween cocktail party, consider looking to South Florida's Death or Glory Bar in Delray Beach - handily renamed Death or Gory for all of October.
The craft cocktail bar, which is known for its tiki drinks and elaborate Christmas pop-up with decorations galore, is offering up spooky cocktails including 'Til Death Do Us Part, made with vodka, spiced Grenadine, lemon and Cointreau. Other inventive offerings include Premature Burial, Lizzy Borden and the Poison Apple. There's even a mocktail for the teetotallers - the Antidote - served with a spiced (not spiked) Grenadine syringe.
Snacks include The Birds (it's just chicken wings, so no Alfred Hitchcock-inspired nightmares necessary) and Unforgettable Ooze (spoiler alert: it's raclette).
But they're not leaving their tiki aesthetic behind this Halloween - they're serving up drinks in Death or Gory tiki mugs - although some come in trick or treat worthy accouterments, including a chemistry beaker and a cauldron style mug.
On Friday nights, the bar is hosting Tarot readings and on Sunday night sideshow acts come through, including a man juggling on stilts.
