Death of Scots OAP found at house ‘12 years later’ ruled not suspicious by cops

The death of a pensioner whose body was found in the Aberdeen home which she shared with her elderly husband has been ruled ‘not suspicious’ by police.

The woman, named locally as Christina Malley, is feared to have died upto 12 years ago at the property in Allison Close, Cove.

The alarm was raised when nurses turned up at the house on February 25 after she failed to arrive for her Covid-19 vaccination.

When asked where she was, the woman’s husband allegedly said she was abroad.

The grim discovery was made a short time later sparking a major police investigation to determine if any crimes had been committed.

It has now been determined that her death was not suspicious however enquiries remain ongoing into other circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking tragedy.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries have been concluded and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident remain are continuing.”

The Evening Express reports that the house has now been boarded up.
