Death of elderly man in Glasgow home prompts police appeal to trace family

Police in Glasgow have launched an appeal to trace the relatives of a man who died in his home in the north east of the city.

They are seeking the assistance of the public to help find the family of Francis Blackstock from Riddrie.

The 68-year-old was found dead within his property at Maxwelton Road on Wednesday, December 1.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Anyone who has knowledge of Mr Blackstock's relatives is asked to contact the Administration department, London Road Police Office on 0141-532-4644 between the hours of 8am and 4pm )Monday to Friday).
