The death of a 63-year-old woman at a home in Gawler South in Adelaide's north is being treated as suspicious, with another woman arrested.
Police and paramedics were called to the home at midday on Friday to find the occupant dead inside the property.
"Investigators are treating the woman's death as suspicious." South Australia Police said in a statement.
They said a 54-year-old Gawler South woman had been arrested for an assault which occurred at the premises.
"The women are believed to be known to each other and this does not appear to be a random incident," police said.
