Death of 50-year-old woman in Glasgow not being treated as suspicious by cops

Police say the unexplained death of a woman who was found in a property in Glasgow is not being treated as suspicious.

The 50-year-old woman's body was understood to have been discovered by officers in Maryhill on Thursday, May 13.

They confirmed that a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Thursday, 13 May, 2021, police received a report of the sudden death of a 50-year-old woman in Glasgow.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
