Police have taped off a home on a Livingston street after the ‘unexplained’ death of a five-month-old baby.
Officers were called to Scott Brae, in the Ladywell area, on Friday after the death of the baby boy at St John’s Hospital on Friday.
One property on the street has been cordoned off by officers as they continue to investigate the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in West Lothian are investigating after a five-month-old baby boy from the Ladywell area died in St John’s Hospital on Friday, November 15.
“The death is being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
