Death of 38-year-old in Glasgow flat 'unexplained' as police launch probe

An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found in a Glasgow flat.

The 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene following the grim discovery last night.

The man's death is being treated as 'unexplained' as police examine the scene in Wallace Street.

An eye witness told the Daily Record : "I saw a private ambulance outside a set of flats on Wallace Street and there were forensics there too.

"It looked like a body had been found."

Police Scotland say a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A force spokeswoman said: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained. A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
